I need to eat something but I'm scared that I'll wake Lisset up. But I don't think I will. I should be doing work.. but I'm not. Again. If my mom was here she'd kick my ass. Why am I so lazy?? This is so bad... Anyway... I went to a Ramashow finally. I'd gladly pay like $5-6 to get into this show.. but just to let you know it was free. I'm soo fuckn glad I went. Even though it was by myself. I'll admit.. i was scared and i felt like such a loser for being by myself... but really it wasn't that bad. I mean going solo. I saw Brian S. there... he still cute but he cut off all his curly locks!!!! I admonished him for that... told him i liked his hair before haha. I think he knows that I like Tom... and i'm guessing it's because Tom has a big mouth. Not that I regret telling him that but damn.. i had no idea that boys blabber like that lol. The reason i think he knows it's because he told me that Tom went to Philly.. and i didn't ask him where Tom was ... at all. I mean i don't think i mentioned him at all... i guess he was thinking, "where is his sexy roommate???!?!?" which i sorta was i admit. lol it's all good though. so yeah.. the show was soo fuckn good that i ended up buying 3 out of the 5 acts' cds. and it woulda been four if Lima Research Society didn't ran out. and it might have been five but Dan didn't have cds ... but he was alright... i liked his first song and last song the best. i especially liked one of his lyrics: "girl don't stay home all day long." that was really good and it reminded me of me and how proud i was of myself for actually leaving the dorm.. even though it was winter and i was by myself and it was at night. one of the guys were soo good .. his name was anthony ... that after much fruitless begging for money from people i know that i just ran between sets to my dorm ... which is half way across campus.. very far away from the student center/ j. lee's... good thing i grabbed a 20 because the other acts after them were freakn amazing. Lima Research Society was utterly kickarse. I mean they put on a great show!! i was amazed at how interactive they were at their set... i mean they threw confetti to the audience... missing Brian lol.. he has a shield or something surrounding him haha. and the lead singer even gave away "magical" motts apple juice boxes and told everyone standing to dance and block everybody's view it was obnoxious yeah.. but pretty effin cool. and the chick that went after them.. april smith.. was soo friggin cool what she lacked in style (the whole friggin band wore green and white and the pianist wore a furry cat head costume thingy) she made up for in substance (not to say that they weren't good.. but she had a stronger voice and her lyrics spoke to me more than their "santa on a red rocket ship" did) she was soo freakn' great on acoustic.. and i absolutely loved all her songs. and the last band.. fly upright kite... was totally banging!! i think that the lead singer was indian.. which was kickarse... and they drove 8 hours from boston to come play here!!! it was their first show here in NJ and they were astounding. they said they sounded weird because they didn't have their other guitar player (work conflict) but they sounded super fantastic!! so of course i bought their cds. and i'm gonna add that lima.. the lead singer of lima research society is so fuckn hot. i think he might be going here at ramapo... which would be awesome. he's skinny.. strange.. pale.. wears glasses.. and seems quite intellectual i'm in love lol. and i got to shake his hand because he was selling his ish.
